early month

■	Migratory birds of fall such as Crossbills, Redpolls and Sinkins return. (S)
■	Migratory birds of fall such as Rough-legged Bussards and Hen Harriers return to marsh. (S)
■	A king of the sea, Steller’s Sea Eagles start to return. (S)

　

　

■	The place of bait is open. Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Nuthatches and Great Tits come to the place to eat. (C)

the middle of month

■	A number of Whooper Swans reaches to the peak. It is about 3,000 around Shunkunitai and Onnetou, and about 6,000 ～7,000 all around Lake Furan. (S)

　

■	Moss in forest in Shunkunitai becomes the most beautiful in this season. (S)
■	Sprouts of Lysichiton Camtschatcenses can be seen. (S and W)

the end of month

■	Winter birds, Snow Buntings, Rosy Finches and Brambling return. (S)
■	We can not spot Japanese Cranes until spring because they move to Akan Chou and Tsurui Mura.

■	A number of seals around Lake Furen start to increase. We may spot about 100 of them.
■	Squirrels come up to the place of bait. (C)
